We have a strong and active list of authors and journalists so consequently receive many referrals and proposals. Therefore, we operate pretty much by referral. However, we are always willing to consider a proposal or manuscript that in our opinion has real merit and commercial appeal. But we are fairly selective.

Initial inquiries to Bruce Kennedy Management should be made by email. Submissions should only be sent by post at our request. We prefer to see only a short synopsis (maximum 3 pages). If we are interested in your proposal we will telephone you to discuss further. Submissions should be sent to us after contacting us.

We do not accept telephone enquiries or manuscripts sent by mail, unless requested.

Note: if you send us a brief synopsis of your work, make sure we are the only agent considering your proposal. We cannot sell a work to a publisher if every publisher in Australia has already rejected it.
